Traditional surround (5.1, 7.1) places speakers around you at ear level. Immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos add height channels — speakers in the ceiling — and treat sounds as objects moving in 3D space. Done well, the room disappears. Read our explainer: What is Dolby Atmos?
Choosing the right layout for your room

More speakers are not automatically better. In a smaller Udaipur bedroom-conversion, a well-placed 5.1.2 or 5.1.4 often outperforms a crowded 7.1.4. Speakers you won't see
Most of our immersive cinemas use in-ceiling height speakers and in-wall surrounds behind acoustic fabric or slim grilles, keeping the room architectural. If you prefer the look and performance of floor-standing towers, we combine them with in-ceiling height speakers in a hybrid design.
A note on certification
We design Dolby Atmos-style immersive speaker configurations and use equipment that decodes immersive formats. Formal Dolby certification of a room depends on the final equipment and system design meeting Dolby's requirements, so we never claim certification unless a specific project meets them.
Planning height speakers during construction
If your Udaipur home is under construction, tell us before the false ceiling is finalised. Height speaker positions, back-boxes and wiring are far easier (and neater) to plan in advance — and the ceiling design can hide them completely.
